Transforming a simple closet into an immersive sanctuary inspired by the serene universe of a spa — entirely dedicated to Birkenstock’s Foot Care Essentials line — was the challenge entrusted to me by the Karla Otto agency.
With natural-toned materials, fluid drapes guiding the gaze and softening the contours, and a gentle light focused only on the essential, I envisioned this compact space as a refined cocoon, where every element was designed to invite calm and disconnection.
The Birkenstock Care Essentials products were displayed alongside their active ingredients — fresh mint, salt crystals, pomegranate — in a sensorial and narrative mise-en-scène.
Each formula resonated with its raw material, creating a dialogue between authenticity and aesthetics, between substance and space.
The experience extended beyond visual contemplation: a Birkenstock practitioner was present to offer discreet foot massages, away from the bustle outside — immersing visitors in a ritual that combined touch, scent, and atmosphere.
At the intersection of storytelling and retail design, this scenography embodies my vision of Experience Design:
a sensitive dialogue between space, product, and narrative. To stage without overplaying. To evoke rather than impose.
And above all, to craft moments that move, resonate, and linger.
